This year’s Stories in Stone Cemetery Tour celebrates the remarkable women of Palmer and Alaska who came before us. Our 2026 theme — Hearth and Homestead: Matriarchs of the Midnight Sun — brings to life the stories of 13 women buried in our Pioneer Cemetery, women from Palmer and across Alaska who shaped this land and the families who called it home.
