TALIS COLBERG

ALASKA STATE FAIR HISTORY!
You are invited to learn about Talis’ experience at Disneyland as a young boy – which started his interest in fairs – and about his Alaska State Fair Cabbage named
‘Stormy”.
We are excited to welcome Talis Colberg for a special presentation exploring one of the region’s most beloved traditions, the Alaska State Fair. Titled “The Green Flash and the Fair,” Colberg’s talk will trace the early roots of the fair—how it grew from the agricultural ambitions of the Matanuska Colony into a event that continues to shape the identity of Palmer today, a cornerstone of our community. We will also hear the story of Mr. Colberg’s own longstanding connection to the fair, offering a unique perspective that runs parallel to its development over the years.
As always – this is a FREE event and open to the public!
See you there!
