Finger Lake State Recreation Site is located 0.7 mile west of the Trunk Road/Bogard Road intersection. The campground offers a quiet retreat between two cities, Palmer and Wasilla. There are 24 campsites, 2 group-use camping areas, 25 picnic sites, water, toilets, and a boat launch. The recreation site provides lake access for boaters and sport fisherman. Finger Lake has good fishing for Rainbow, Arctic Char, and Grayling with access to winter ice fishing.

Boaters on Finger Lake are advised that the Mat-Su Borough enforces special motorized use restrictions that require boat motors to have mufflers, cowlings, and exhaust systems. No motors may be operated from 11:00pm -8:00am. No wake zones are in effect within 100 feet out from shoreline.

Kepler Park is located on E. Kepler Drive, at Mile 37.4 of the Glenn Highway, about 1.5 miles north/east of the Parks & Glenn Hwy. interchange.Being situated on two lakes, Kepler and Bradley, you will find a serene setting for camping, picnicking, boating and excellent trout fishing. The lakes are stocked annually by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
For over 70 years, Kepler Park has a been a favorite destination for locals and travelers alike.

Nestled beneath King Mountain on the banks of the Matanuska River, this convenient pullout offers beautiful river scenery and peaceful camping. King Mountain SRS has 22 campsites, picnic areas, toilets, and water. Site reservations for King Mountain SRS can be made through park concessionaire Great Holiday Campgrounds. Mt. View R. V. Park is located approximately 40 miles North of Anchorage, and/or three miles East of Palmer on Smith Road via the scenic Old Glenn Highway. The Old Glenn Highway can be located at mile 29 Glenn Highway or mile 42 Glenn Highway (Arctic Blvd - Palmer). Smith Road is at approximately mile 16 Old Glenn Highway or 3 miles from Palmer. Guest's are not suprised to find Moose walking through the Park. Watching Sheep and Moose graze along the scenic mountains is easy and exciting.
Our park also offers pull through sites with full hookups and 30 amp service. We have clean individual private restrooms with free hot showers. We also provide onsite laundry with 5 washers and 8 dryers that are handicap accessible.
