DESCRIPTION:It’s that time again for the 3 Day “Valley Chrome & Wheel” Car Show at the MTA Event Center and Ice Rink 1317 Kerry Weiland Way in downtown Palmer. Show hours are Friday May 1st 4:00pm to 8:00pm\, Saturday May 2nd from 10:00am to 8:00pm and Sunday May 3rd our final day is from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The “Day Trippin” show is on Saturday from 11:00am to 3:00pm in the roped off area of the parking lot. Exquisite Urban Tastes will be the food truck to help satisfy your hunger.Remember don’t get SCAMED all 49th State Street Rodder Car Show are free to attend and show and there is no charge for late or early registration. Early registration is always a good idea. There is only room for around 50 vehicles in the arena\, and I already have 25 pre-registered. So\, DM us if you want to register.

The college’s 30-voice touring choir is made up of undergraduate singers from a variety of majors\, including music\, aviation\, education\, and more. The choir tours annually and in the last 20 years has performed in 38 states (including Hawaii)\, Puerto Rico\, and Canada.

DESCRIPTION:Hello friends!\nWe are currently accepting both nonprofit projects and volunteers for our upcoming Week of Caring Volunteer Extravaganza!\nWhat’s Week of Caring\, you ask?\nEvery year\, United Way of Mat-Su recruits\, coordinates and hosts volunteer at nonprofit projects around the Valley. This week is designed to ease the burden of spring projects submitted by our fellow nonprofits. UWMS provides volunteer coordination so that these projects can be completed\, when they might otherwise go unfinished.\nSome of our traditional projects have included spring prep at the AK Wild Bird Rehab Center\, playground repairs and cleanup at Alpine Historical Park and the Palmer Amoosement Park\, and planting seedlings at APU Spring Creek Farm. These are just a few of the projects to choose from!\nThis year’s dates are May 11-May 15\, with most projects scheduled from 10am-3pm. Details for individual sites are still in the works\, but we encourage volunteers to fill out our preliminary interest form.\nNonprofit sites are encouraged to also apply. WOC volunteers particularly love hands-on\, interactive\, outdoor projects\, and snacks of all kinds are always welcome.
