DESCRIPTION:Devil’s Club may not be a hiker’s friend\, but it has long been valued for its medicinal properties. Cottonwoods\, highbush cranberry twigs and willows all contain valuable healing compounds. While not intended as medical advice\, this class provides insight into plant identification\, methods and ethics of foraging. Learn the basics of salve-making\, and take home a 2 oz container of devil’s club salve.\nIncludes a short walk and foraging lesson\, then participants will learn how to handle and process devil’s club and other materials to produce a salve to take home.\n$55 Non-Adventure Club member\n$49 Adventure Club member
